Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and [Business or personal name] (“we”, “us”) about your use of the Kitgrow desktop app, its website kitgrow.app and the online services the app uses (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
Kitgrow lets you build personal tracking apps from templates, by hand, or by describing them to an AI. The records you enter are stored on your own computer. Some features — the AI, your account and subscriptions — use our online services.
2. Your account
You need an account with a valid email address to use the AI through our service. Keep access to your email secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 14 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to create an account.
3. Plans and payment
- The Free plan includes templates, manual editing and 5 AI requests a month. We may pause free AI requests temporarily when demand is very high.
- The Pro plan is a subscription ($6.99 a month or $59 a year, plus applicable taxes) that includes a monthly AI allowance. When the allowance is used up, AI requests stop until the next month; the rest of the app keeps working.
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the app’s settings; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Changes apply from your next renewal.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to break the law or to infringe other people’s rights;
- try to get around usage limits, create accounts to obtain extra free use, or overload, reverse engineer or attack our services;
- use the AI to generate unlawful, harmful or abusive content;
- resell or share access to our online services.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. AI output
The AI can make mistakes. Review what it builds or changes before relying on it — every change can be reverted from the change history. Do not rely on the Service for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical decisions.
6. Your content
You own the records you enter and the apps you build. When you use the AI, we send the parts of your request needed to answer it to our AI provider and return the result to your app; see our Privacy Policy. You grant us only the permission needed to do that.
7. Our software
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app. The app includes open-source components under their own licenses, including fonts under the SIL Open Font License.
8. Backups
Your records live on your computer. The app keeps automatic local backups, but you are responsible for keeping copies of data that matters to you.
9. Changes and ending the Service
We may update the app and these terms. For material changes we will tell you in the app or by email in advance. If we ever shut down the online services, we will give at least 30 days’ notice; the app and your local records will keep working without the AI.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you live.
